Over the past 18 years, Dokken has sold over 6 million albums. Dokken has always been about the music first and foremost and on this new album it is obvious that the band is again progressing creatively as we approach the new mellennium.

On "Erase The Slate" the band has found the high energy and melodic harmonies that were their signature in their heyday. The replacement of original guitarist George Lynch with ex-Winger and Alice Cooper axeman, Reb Beach, has breathed a new life into the band and its music according to the remaining original members, vocalist Don Dokken, bassist Jeff Pilson and drummer Mick Brown.
