When Illdisposed released their debut album, "Four Depressive Seasons," way back in 1993, it created a stir in the death metal underground. The album was musical ultra violence. Since then, Illdisposed have gone from strength to strength. In 1995 the Danish band made a dent in the metal world with the now classic album, "Submit." The slightly more melodic 1997 album, "There's Something Rotten...In The State Of Denmark," also went down a storm and today, Illdisposed are considered one of the most legendary death metal bands of Scandinavia. The new album, "Kokaiinum," proves that Illdisposed haven't lost their ability to write excellent songs. The brutality, the gravel throated growls and the gruesome grind is still there. But Illdisposed have once again succeeded in coming up with some of the most melodic and groovy songs that can be heard in the current death metal scene.
