Castle Party is not only the most important event on the Polish Gothic Darkwave music scene, but it's also one of the biggest music festivals in the Middle and Eastern Europe. Every year for two days, all metal maniacs and the most interesting bands are coming to Bolkow to take part in this feast. It's been hosting the major stars of Gothic and Darkwave since 1994. This feast takes place in very dark and mysterious ruins of Bolkow Castle. This year the most exciting bands came to Castle Party. For example...New Model Army, Das Ich, Clan Of Xymox, Closterkeller, Fading Colours and more. This unusual record contains songs from every band which appears on this year Castle Party.

Castle Party Festival has been attracting thousands of fans of dark sounds. During the ninth edition in 2002 it was simply the record. It's no wonder cause in this extraordinary place they can experience excellent bands from all over Europe. Musicians represent the highest quality of gothic, but, since the last two years, organizers of a festival decided to invite some non-gothic performers like Lech Janerka, Ankh or Quidam. The second stage constantly develops and admirers of the festival are coming back to Bolkow to go through this stunning music sea with more and more dark styles. But, admirers of gothic who weren't able to appear by stage in Bolkow as well as everyone who wants to come back to Castle Party 2002 luckily have a chance to do it. You can just put "Castle Party 2002" in your CD player and go deeply under the surface of extraordinary sounds.
