"Beneath The Wheel" is the title of Cause For Alarm's ten-song CD on Victory Records. That's also the place you're gonna be if you happen to get in the way while this band is on a roll! Cause For Alarm plays straightforward, in your face punk music that, at times, seems to verge on the border of hardcore (in terms of music). They're not breaking any new ground here. Even though they're not doing anything different, they do manage to inject a great deal of energy and aggression into what they're doing. It's original, but it's an album that is good enough to rise above the countless other bands out there who are doing the same thing with less than impressive releases.
