Ahhhhhh…….I’m sitting back in the my chair in front of the computer with my feet up, enjoying this Satanic piece of genius. Fuck, I love Deicide!!! The Evil Ones are back with a live recording straight from Hell, via Chicago’s House of Blues, and they lay before us an offering of 17 great ones. The quality of this CD is near perfect, as is the choice of songs. It starts with “When Satan Rules His World,” from their first album, and continues with such tasty selections as “Once Upon A Cross,” “Blame it on God,” and my personal favorite “Slave to the Cross.” I love dreaming about the horrific nightmares Deicide has given christians over the years. Delightful! I just saw them live here in San Francisco a few months ago, and I must say, it was a great set. Nice to hear it once more.
