Fiarro is a three piece power/progressive metal band. Their recently released, nine song, self titled CD shows a lot of promise. While not being original, the band does pack a punch. Each member, bassist Rick Flores, vocalist Vikk Real and guitarist John Fiarro, brings a different influence into the band and the end result is a truly powerful album. Gotta admit, there are a few weak spots here and there. But, the impression I get is that this band knows what it wants to do and where they want to go. With this release, they're just getting their feet wet. I can't wait to hear them when they actually dive into the water.
