I like punk music. But, Just For Today didn't seem to do anything for me. They consider themselves to be a fast, melodic punk band. Okay, I can agree with that. But, their idea of punk is more in the vein of Green Day (& I personally think Green Day sucks). There's some really cool guitar work to be found on this album. The vocals don't seem to fit the music. Not that they're bad, they just seem out of place. In the end, I guess it just boils down to what kind of music you like. If you like Green Day, you'll enjoy Just For Today. But, if you're like me, any album by The Ramones would probably get more playing time in your stereo.
