If all anyone had to go by was the appearance of the two guys that comprise Liar, there's no way in the world you'd expect this! Not a chance. Melodic Rock that nods back toward the 80's better days when style and substance ruled the game is where Liar's going with their debut "While the City Sleeps. We'll avoid " image conscious" as a characteristic for reasons that would become obvious upon first glance here, but just when you thought all hope was gone for bands bringing back Hard Rock with a fashionable commrecial appeal, up steps Liar. Are they out of their minds? Maybe but there's something soothingly appealing to their music... maybe now better suited toward a slightly older audience, but hey, it's time to step out of the shadows here and reawaken this unsuspecting populous.
