By Wayne Klinger A rather strange individual here.A Shaman Indian blues/rock guitarist that wears a body stocking with angel wigs for his stage presence. Good thing I read the whole bio,since this interpretation makes you draw conclusions if this is another Ian Anderson or a more pleasant G.G.Allin.A Masters Degree in music and three other degrees from the Grove School of Music, Angel has the wits and talent to be the next phenom of blues guitar since Hendrix.This CD starts off with an interesting version of a Beatles medley done in a sort of Kravitz style. Basically the rest of the CD reminds me alot of what Kravitz would construct but add in some Red Hot Chili Peppers and Santana.The guitarwork is exceptional and just a notch better than one would think since I already mentioned Santana and Kravitz; both great players as well. No matter what Angel decides to wear or not wear on stage,his music speaks volumes. |
