This album is very easy to review. After giving it a listen, what came to my mind was "a progressive/power metal epic." There's not too many bands out there that can make music that SOUNDS larger than life. Balance Of Power has accomplished that and they've accomplished it in a VERY BIG way. The music here really stands out and it was captured by an incredible production (the louder you play it, the better it sounds). Adding to that are some spoken word bits between the songs which add even more flavor to this already exceptional album. A magazine in the United Kingdom called "Book Of Secrets" the album of the year and that's a statement that you won't hear me argue with. This will go down in history as one of the best. Ten years from now, people will be calling this a classic (even though it's a classic now...an instant classic). Seek this release out and see what Balance Of Power has hidden within their "Book Of Secrets."
