This latest offering from the Swedish semi-automatic weapon of mass destruction finds them exploring the inner depths of the deep catacombs that we may assume they escaped from many a year ago. Such ragged-edged rhythms and indecipherable lyrics as located here on "Black Juju" suggest a parallelism to the earliest work of underground legends Venom. Taking a full fledged leap into the pool of punk rock in this instance, a wider dimension can be heard-at least early on before the ringing starts-to the incomparable power that stirs the likes of "Mezmerization Eclipse, "Black Juju" and the album's calling card "Tear it Loose"! If this ain't one you'll find yourself belting out in the privacy of your own cell than nothing else here's gonna do it for you! Apparently evolved from a recent 10" and sporting four additional cuts, Entombed's "Black Juju" is a perfect example of why your parents never wanted you to pick up a guitar in the first place!
