By Wayne Klinger I reviewed this band for my Quintessence#3 when they released the 1999 EP, "Last-Minute Lies" on Supernal--the band is unique to say the least and do avante-garde like no other band I have come across. Hailing from Norway, this duo (with added help on the new CD) really comes up with some bizarre stuff when you consider my idea of a cross-reference being an industrial version of Slayer with System of A Down meeting up with John Zorn/Naked City!! The helping hands that make their presence felt here are from such notable bands like Mayhem,Arcturus,Ulver,Magenta and a couple others making this truly original and well out in front for bizarreness. 8 tracks, 50 minutes of what I call beyond words and has to be heard to be believed! Male and female vocal trade-offs, saxophone and realms of experimenting that are new to my ears let alone anyone elses. Email: mail@supernalmusic Website: www.supernalmusic.com |
