By Wayne Klinger Just a few years ago this legendary band got back together and put out some killer full-length CD's on their own and have returned to Metal Blade with "SaviourSelf" and "The Downside". To rekindle the days of old when we all wore jean jackets with our favorite bands emblazened all over and the bullet belts,skull jewelry,etc. Hades was phenomenal in their own right with great live shows from what everyone says and this CD release captures a performance done back in 1991 at Studio-1 in Newark,NJ.Hades as solid as any unit at this point in time,shoves 13 true metal tracks up your ass and gives you the pleasure of 4 bonus tracks including an unreleased Non-Fiction track,side project stuff from Dreams of Venus,etc. and a track from "SaviourSelf".The production on this is well-done and gives you that "as-if-you-were-there" feeling.Recommended for all Hades fans and fanatics of thrash!!! |
