By Paul Autry No, this isn't what sex is like, I'm sorry to say. I'm not exactly sure what this is supposed to be. The bio that came with the disc states that it's grooving, intelligent, sex driven noise. Well, the only thing I could agree with is the noise part. Everything else is still open for discussion. They sound like they're trying to be The Dead Kennedys and, in my opinion, they come close, but, no cigar. As for the vocals, well, I think a few lessons are in order because screaming the lyrics doesn't sound all that interesting, unless of course you're in a hardcore band, and that isn't the case here. Maybe these guys actually do have a direction, I don't know. If they do, they're way out in left field. Personally, I just don't get it and I'm already looking through my stack of CD's for something else to review. |
