By Jym Harris Scandanavia’s Lion’s Share may be best known for their cover of ‘Touch Of Evil’ which appears on the Judas Priest tribute ‘Legends Of Metal volume 1’ in addition to this CD. The other cover song on Fall From Grace is the 1979 City Boy song ‘The Earth Caught Fire’ which has some impressive harmonies in the vein of Queen & Styx. Their original material has the same flavor (due to the vocals & keyboards) but leans a little more in a heavier direction. Not unlike a lot of European Metal bands today, there is a progressive element to the band. Mixed with melodic vocals & heavy riffing, Fall From Grace has the makings for some Metal classics. I can honestly say Lion’s Share is currently one of the best bands of their genre. FYI: They do covers of Queensryche & Electric Boys for other tribute albums, which don’t appear on this CD.
