Here's the three song EP that has gotten this band noticed on the Pennsylvania music scene. While I wouldn't go so far as to call this band "brutal," these three songs still pack quite a punch. The production doesn't do them justic though as I believe they have so much more to offer. New material is in the works and that, my loyal headbangers, will be the stuff that crushes heads.

Musically, they have elements of thrash, death and hardcore. But, you can't really tag Spinebelt with any of those labels because they don't fit all nice and snug into any of those categories. They kind of hang out on the outer limits of those styles...in other words, there's some original music going on here.

What did this release do for me? Well, it got me interested in the band, plain & simple. Now that they have my attention, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do when they go all out. Yeah, baby! That's gonna kick some ass. Can't fucking wait!
