By Wayne Klinger I never did like Punk music but this is the band with many firsts and has etched a milestone in music history for this genre--first Punk band to get a recording contract, first for getting into the charts, first to release an LP and first to break up about 3 years after!! Enough buzz created that they landed shows with the Sex Pistols and Nick Cave with the added personnel problems and bad press!!! Not much different than today's bands despite our media has gotten much worse. The CD is 22 tracks and just shy of 74 minutes of raunchy, pouty, harmonial rants from the days of old when rebellion was an accepted art form. A very wise purchase if you are a collector--BBC and Peel have come out with some classic releases for people over the years. © 2000, BBHrdRpt
