Balance of Power

Well, let's see, I'm
already familiar with this band by way of their
"Book Of Secrets" album, which I thought was rather
impressive. But,
nothing could prepare me for how well the band would improve their sound
on their latest release, "Perfect Balance." Actually, the name
of the
album title says it all...there's a "Perfect Balance" of the
instrumentation, it blends together rather well and, to top it off, you
have a top notch production that's killer smooth. You get nine songs
that clock in at close to an hour and those nine songs are some of the
best damn power metal that you will ever hope to hear. As an added
bonus, there's an enhanced section on this disc which, for the most
part, I got to check out. I didn't have the plug in to see the live
footage. Maybe someday I'll download it, maybe not. I'd rather have this
disc in my stereo instead of my computer anyway. Balance of Power is a
very strong band and they're gonna be around for quite some time, making
kick ass music that will continue to get better and better. That much
I'm sure of and I'd even be willing to bet money on that.
