Too many people consider rock 'n' roll to be the music of the devil. It's time for God to start bangin' some heads and with the re-release of Bloodgood's "To Germany, With Love," well, people will start to notice that there's some people out there who are still willing to rock for the one who is The Rock...yeah!

This album was recorded in Germany (of course) in 1993 and, it was recorded live. This 14 song release has a very raw sound quality to it, which doesn't really help to capture how well this band actually plays. But, it does give you a good glimpse into a band that played straight forward, in your face, rock 'n' roll music. There's some really bright moments on this album and they kick in rather early, starting with track three, "Let My People Go," track five, "All Stand Together," track six, "Hey You" and it keeps going well into the rest of the disc. As for how the band sounds, as I sat here listening to this album, I heard (in various degrees) Stryper, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake and Firehouse. So, try to imagine those four groups all rolled into one with a shot of originality and you have Bloodgood. And for a truly touching moment, listen to track thirteen and, even though the band is no longer together, they'll reach out and touch your heart.
