Bloodstained Dusk

When I think of
Alabama, a couple things come to mind. Former governor
George Wallace for one, and 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynryd Skynryd (or
were actually from Florida) for another. I do not thing of black metal,
well, at least I didn't until I heard Bloodstained Dusk. This is a band
not to be missed. Decked out in black metal, spikes and corpse-painted
faces, they play black metal the way it should be played; with swords
drawn and fires lit. 'Anger conquers all sorrows, black warlocks of
ancient wisdom, set forth their eclipse.' The higher-than-high screams
burst out, introducing us to their Satanic world. This is only a small
portion of the first song 'Moon Behind the Storm.' Every song contains
intensified energy turned to dark anger. This is the perfect soundtrack
for our violent times. The lyrics are as complex as the music, and they
hold forth in the American black metal court. Hail!
