Long live rock and roll
and long live a band like Brass Kitten. "Across
America" is a ten song release that takes you back to the time when
music was fun. This is 80's style rock 'n' roll here and, I don't care
what anyone thinks, people still enjoy that style of music and, yes,
there are people out there who still enjoy playing it...people like
Brass Kitten. Let's face it, if you play this style of music, right off
the bat, people will compare you to Ratt, Poison, Def Leppard, Warrant,
Skid Row, Kiss and so on and so forth. Well, sorry to say, some of you
need to get over it and enjoy the music for what it is, which is good,
old fashioned, ass kicking rock 'n' roll. I don't care what the current
trends are right now, this is a damn good album and, if you don't like
it, don't listen to it. Just go follow your current little trends like a
good little sheep. Personally, I'd rather listen to the music of Brass
Kitten because, let's face it, it's this style of music that got most of
us into music in the first place....and I don't forget where my love of
