By Wayne Klinger I have said it many times of how good Illinois tends to stay musically sound in the u/g. Ditchwater is a young stud of a band, roughly 3 years in existence and have teased their fans/listeners with small doses of releases and promos with no full-length releases. I never got a chance until now to give them a listen and to me it was a tease hearing only 2 songs that kick ass. The original vocals of Bill Matthews stand out from the crowd--a more understandable but still emphasizing on power and aggression like those of Crowbar but clean like Papa Roach. This, despite my first listen and only 2 songs--flat-out delivers and may 2001 bring us the first full-length debut,Ditchwater could be big! S.B.M. Management 16310 St.Louis Markham,IL 60426 USA
