Dominating every one of these songs is aggressive, yet well-crafted, guitar work of Travis Hall and Jeff Caughron, but it's Rick Ruhl's whiskey-stained vocal ability which leads us down the Smokin' Delta Voodoo road. E.M.N.'s rhythm section holds their own as well, Kris "Newt" Beavers on drums and Troy Fleming on bass keep the rest of the guys in line with their tight grooves. Ruhl's voice seems a little more natural and better suited for the more up-tempo songs than the slower ones, but every song on this disc is very good and worth listening to in its own right. Very well produced with a collection of songs all worthy of radio play. Song on this disc include: Push, Delta Voodoo, Pray, among others.
