Fans of old H2O will not be disappointed by the latest release from NYC's premier hardcore band, H2O. It was only a matter of time before h2O actually released an album titled, "GO" because H2O is destined to go over the top with this one. The album is filled with the catchy melodies H2O is famous for as well as keeping true to their hardcore roots. Most of the songs on the album are under three minutes long, following in the tradition of older H2O albums. The opening track on the CD, "Role Model" will hook the listener instantly. There is no way anyone can turn off, "GO" until the entire CD is over. "Ripe or Rotting" is one of the highlights on the album and make sure to pay attention to "Self Reliable." Singer Toby Morse manages once again on this album to capture a positive message in his lyrics. H2O has combined all the elements of classic NYCHC, pop/punk rock and overall catchy songs to create an album sure to please music fans of all genres. The most interesting song on the album though has to be the bonus track in which H2O covers Madonna's "Like a Prayer." This song definitely has an original H2O flavor to it.
