Here's a release that
caught my attention even though it wasn't
something I could get into. Their musical style is hard to describe
because I heard a little bit of everything. I wanna say hardcore, but,
they're really not a hardcore band. But, there's elements of hardcore,
as well as black metal (for some of the vocals), alternative and noise.
It's heavy, it's intense and there's a lot going on through out this
release. You just don't know what to expect from song to song and the
album cover doesn't really give you a clue as to what's contained on
this album. Inkling is a band that hits you from every direction in
order to get your attention. By the time you run through all the songs,
you'll find yourself wondering what it was that you just experienced. No
doubt about it...this is a rather interesting release. Seven songs that
clock in around 36 minutes...do you think you can handle it?
