Here's the scoop on this release. First of all, the "band" is the same on every song...Warrant's Jerry Dixon and Eric Turner on bass and guitar, Randy Castillo on drums and Tracii Guns on lead guitar. The material that's included on this doesn't go beyond the "Pyromania" album. The vocal slot is occupied by a who's who of rock 'n' roll. John Corabi, Joe Leste, Jani Lane, Kevin DuBrow, Stevie Rachelle, Steve Whiteman, Kelly Hansen, Phil Lewis, Jason McMaster, Jizzy Pearl, Kory Clark and Paul Shortino. Is that a line up or what?

Most of the songs seem to have been recorded as close to the original as possible. They don't seem to want to take these songs and make them their own. The stand out track, as far as being different goes, is Kevin DuBrow's version of "Rock, Rock (Till You Drop)," which was remixed by Fredco (whoever that is). Other highlights include Jani Lane's version of "Photograph," Jason McMaster's version of "Let It Go" and Jizzy Pearl's version of "High & Dry." As far as a personal favorite, it's gotta be "Rock Of Ages" by Kelly Hansen for the simple fact that, out of all the older Def Leppard material, I feel it was this song that defined who they were at that time.

This is a must have album for the simple fact of who's on it, that's makes the price of admission well worth it right off the bat. For Def Leppard fans, this album is something that you might wanna check out. I can't say that it's a well balanced album because it only covers a small part of what Def Leppard is all about. But, it's still a decent album that's worth a listen.
