By Martha Hughes Low Twelve are a true "metal-core" band, bringing the best of both worlds into a blasting, aggressive overlay of power chords and hardcore vocals. This music DRIVES into your bloodstream. Even the slow songs ever really do slow down. They keep a constant thrashing going. Lots of bands attempt this style, few succeed. Low Twelve succeeds. If I had not heard this band before and saw them play for the first time, I would (if they play as good live as on this CD), be an instant fan. The guitar work is what makes this recording stand out. Instant mosh pit, I tell you!!!
