Do I really need to say
anything about this release other than it's
Michael Schenker? Well, not for the people who already know what this
man has accomplished in the music industry. What I do need to tell you
is that this 13 song release is a good, solid, rock 'n' roll album. You
know, I find it kind of funny that the people who have been around
forever, like Michael Schenker, can still put out good albums while the
younger crop of musicians usually fall short by their second album...if
they even survive that long. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Anyway, I
don't know why, but, for some reason, as I sat here listening to this
release, it reminded me of the first release from Badlands. There's a
few songs on here that instantly stand out..."No Turning
Back," "Age Of
Ice" and "Roll It Over" to name a few...and the remaining
songs fill the
void rather nicely. The end result is, as I've said, a good, solid rock
'n' roll album.
Why go out and waste your money on an album that you're not sure of when
you can easily pick up a release like "Be Aware Of Scorpions,"
which
comes from a band name you can trust? You'll get your money's worth with
this release and you won't be disappointed!
