Here's a ten song release that I would describe as college radio friendly,
slightly noisy rock with a dose of pop and light punk. It's got a raw
sound and I'm not talking about the production. It's one of those studio
releases that seem a bit more "live," as opposed to something that's
all spit and polished. Since I got a cassette version (this has been
released on CD) I found that I can get into the first side, but, when
I got to side two, I found my enjoyment wearing off a bit. I don't know...to
me, the songs sounded a bit more laid back on the second side. I think
the only one I really liked was "Throw Me A Bone." The best track on
the album, in my opinion, is the cover they do of Tom Petty's "Free
Fallin'," they picked up the tempo a bit on this one and since that's
just a cool song to begin with, it became even cooler in the hands of
Ploughound.
