By Wayne Klinger One of a few bassists that stand out from the pack with a nice 16-track release here of over an hour of some bass-oriented tracks ut also a few guest musicians on it too like Vito Bratta of White Lion,Al Pitrelli(Widowmaker,Savatage), Steve Vai,Steve Morse,Blues Saraceno,Mark Wood and Zakk Wylde(doing vocals as well). The CD provides aspects of picking,tapping and slapping which is surely a tool for musicians with good ears and still a treat for the unskilled player but likes instrumental music(like myself). Different type of listening for people who like to change their listening from time to time.Randy Coven has always proven why he's one of the best bass players considering when you have to contend with names like Sheehan and Hamm. |
