Well, I wasn't too impressed with the album cover photo of a bulldozer sitting there in the dirt and the back of the CD, wow, there's more dirt. Remember people, how you package your CD is kind of important...not as important as the music itself or how well the band performs and stuff like that, but, it's still important. If the music on your album is good and I wanna keep your album in my collection, I don't want to have to look at a plain, un-inspiring album cover. Now that I've got that out of the way, let's go take a look at the music. As much as every band prays that people go, "Wow, this is the best thing I've ever heard," I can't say that about this release. I wasn't too impressed with their sound, which isn't to say that this is a bad release. It's a good rock album, but, that's all it is...good. It's one of those albums that I'll put on when I'm in the mood to listen to something, but, I'm not quite sure what I wanna listen to. This sort of reminded me of the Texas band Poppeacocks and their album, "Music Made By Crayons," although slightly harder. There's eight songs on this release and Remover should have made more of an attempt to make at least one or two songs just jump right out at you and kick you in the teeth. But, what we get are simply eight good songs, which isn't a bad thing. But, a great album is a great album and a good album sometimes just gets lost in the shuffle.
