Original music is hard to come by nowadays and believe it or not despite most people's opinions, I have found some Goth bands that really have some innovative ideas; so is the case with this Maryland-based band that just uses a full blown band but focusing mainly on the acoustic guitar and synths as well as the angelic voice of Angie Melfa which struck a chord with me from the start and their utilization of writing a story to go along with the whole CD. Still, they maintain a futuristic sound with a bit of electronica in the latter part of the CD and remind me just a bit of New York's Braindance. To be quite honest, SD could fit on the roster of the Chicago label Projekt where Lycia, Black Tape For A Blue Girl and others dwell.
