By Paul Autry This six song Ep is good for what it is, which is straight forward rock 'n' roll. But, even though I enjoyed giving it a listen, there wasn't anything on here that grabbed me by the balls and gave 'em a good squeeze. Each song was just as good as the next, but, there's not one song that I could pick and say, "This makes it all worth listening to." In this day and age, you can get by if you're a good band, which The Deep Eynde is. But, to have a lengthy career and to have a great deal of success, you have to be able to grab an audience, get their attention and hold it. This album should do well for the band. But, if someone comes along behind them, someone with a little more "bite" to their music, well, The Deep Eynde will be quickly passed up. It's all about being the best you can be in this business and, honestly, I don't think The Deep Eynde has reached their true potential yet. http://www.deepeynde.com
