Rock, rap, pop, trip hop and thrash all blended together to create the Ultra V sound. This is party music of the highest quality and it's pretty damn kicking. It's kind of like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers with a whole hell of a lot more talent and a bit of Faith No More's "a little bit of everything in our music" attitude. And, wouldn't you know it, this also happens to be a major label release. It's about time the big companies are putting out good music again. Time to get rid of all the alternative crap that came about because of Kurt Cobain's vision. That shit should've died when good ole' Kurt popped himself off. But, apparently, he only silenced Nirvana (which was the best of the bunch). Now, we've got some extra bullets with bands like Ultra V and the rest of all the junk that's out there is gonna start to fall one by one and, when we're done with that, we're gonna get rid of all those teeny bop sensations. Now's the time for real music to hit the streets again and with Ultra V, well, it's just a start. A highly recommended release, purchase at all costs!
