One word comes to mind when listening to this four song release and that word is Metallica. It's a bit raw...in a good way...but, I still see/hear a Metallica influence. Even on the song "The Last Door," the first song that came to mind when I heard this was "Nothing Else Matters." The band is preparing to record their debut album, which is something I'm looking forward to hearing. That will be the release where people can form an honest opinion of the band. For right now...and based on what I've heard, which is only four songs...the band has potential. Being compared to Metallica doesn't hurt either. But, let's hope the band can find their identity with their full length release. I think this release represents their start down that road to self awareness. It's like, we've started walking and here's what we have so far. When we get to where we're going, we'll show you what we have done and how far we've come. My guess is that when they reach the end of that road...all of us who are there waiting for them are gonna get a good ass kicking! http://www.darkshift.net
