"Self Control"
(BYO Records)

By Paul Hanson

This is the type of old school punk rock grinnin' and bashin' style punk that gets the kids flipflopping like fish in a kettle to the beat. Doesn't matter who they sound like because the music just slides off the CD into your ears and down to your toes a tappin'. Drummer Rob lays down a solid beat for guitarists Trent and Josh to construct noisy guitar riffs. Vocalist Remi is easy to listen to and while I'll look forward to this band in five years <and hope for a more mature outlook on life>, for 2002, this CD rocks.
