First things first...the major disappoint with this release is a severe lack of any extra features. You can either watch this from begining to end or you can choose to select certain songs...that's it. Why waste the time releasing a DVD when you're not gonna add anything extra, that seems like a waste. Might as well just put it on video and be done with it. As for what you actually get...you get to see a Yngwie Malmsteen live performance that took place in Brazil back in May, 1998. The rest of the band includes bassist Barry Dunaway, keyboardist Mats Olausson, drummer Jonas Ostman and vocalist Mats Leven. This is a good concert that features such tunes as "Rising Force," "Seventh Sign," "Facing The Animal," "Trilogy Suite" and more. You go from scene to scene rather nicely, which makes for some interesting viewing. Fans of Yngwie Malmsteen will buy this, there's no question about it. But, if you're new to this music, or new to what Yngwie Malmsteen is all about, you won't find much here in terms of information...all you'll get is the chance to watch a good concert by one of the most respected guitar players in the world.
