Introduding NO FEAR
Please introduce your band members?
Giuseppe Cristaudo, guitarist and founder of the band; Dario Tiralongo
Vocals- Andrea Ricciardini drums; Massimiliano Ricciardo bass.
How long has the band been together?
Since late 1996. But there have been many replacements of Vocalist
& Bass players during this period.
Can you decribe your band's sound & influnces?
Each one has different influences and these are ones characterize
the "No-Fear style". From the historical heavy metal bands (Iron Maiden,
Metallica, Pantera...) to the evolved (Dream Theater...)
Name some groups in which you have open for?
Really we never haven't opened any concert, because we had always
been the headliners, but we would like to open a show for a famous
group!!! (And one time we would have opened for Extrema and Death
SS).
Where did the recording of your curent production take place?
We recorded Y2k2 in Andrea's home, where we usually play and compose
tracks. After this, we sent the promo on "New Sin Studio" of Luigi
Stefanini to final mastering.
What's the scene like in your city & where does your band fit in?
It's very difficult to play live in Italy, especially in Sicily, but
we are really know and many people come to our gigs. Often we play
in pubs and various festivals.
What are the short & long term goals for the group?
We would like to find several contacts about touring, recording as
soon as possible to go out from Italy to have the opportunity so that
we could be known in Europe and in the rest of the world!
What's your biggest gripe as far as the music industry goes?
Too many businness man who wants, wants, wants... and few good band
who play, play, play!
How did you hook up with Management?
Our manager is Emanuele Gentile, reviewer in different Italian and
Foreign magazines and owner of the E.G. Label Management. We've contacted
him because he's the best of South Italy territory and we have needed
someone like him to help us become known!
Any label interest?
10. Thanks to our manager, we've signed two distribution agreements
with BRENNUS/MUSEA (France) and NIGHTMARE RECORDS (worldwide distribution)
for our first self-produced CD "Our Saying"; and we've signed just
some days ago with Belgian HARDEBARAN for booking and we are hooking
up with Belgian MUSIC AVENUE LABEL for a recording agreement.
Last words?
11. Thanks to David LaDuke for this most important opportunity!!
